By the grace of God and the blessing of His Grace Bishop Rewis, a new property has been secured for the parish of St. James, to become our future spiritual home. With hearts full of gratitude and hope, we warmly welcome you to St. James Church Project. This is more than just a building, it is a sacred place where God will dwell among His people, where generations will gather in prayer and where our faith community will continue to grow in love and mission.

We invite you to journey with us in prayer, support and joyful anticipation as we build a spiritual home for all. Located at 355-357 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading, this beautiful site - formerly a Uniting Church - stands on 2,300 sqm and includes: A church building seating up to 200 people, a spacious hall and fully equipped kitchen, 5 offices for ministry and service, 25 car spaces for parishioners and visitors.

Our Mission

Together, we are building church where people of every background are welcomed to encounter the Triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is our shared mission - a calling for each of us to open the doors of faith and make Christ known. All services are conducted in English.

The Journey Ahead

The property has been purchased for $4.3 million, with settlement in 18 months.
We have a giant task before us to raise $900,000 before settlement in April 2027. To break this down into bite size goals we need to raise $50,000 per month. To achieve this we need your help.
